Historic 7 Bed Villa Bevilacqua Marsaglia

Gracing the prestigious residential district of San Remo, the jewel of the Italian Riviera, this enchanting period Villa captures the essence of the Belle Époque era. Conceived by the celebrated architect Pio Soli in 1886, whose mastery also gave birth to the illustrious “Villa Nobel” in San Remo, this residence stands as an epitome of architectural brilliance.

Originally commissioned by the Marsaglia noble family to celebrate the union of their daughter Stefania with Count Lamberto Bevilacqua Ariosti, the Villa retains its original allure and splendor.

Elegance unfolds across four meticulously crafted floors. The raised ground floor unveils an entrance hall leading to the main reception rooms, a billiard room, a kitchen, a library, and a guest bathroom. Each space boasts soaring ceilings, some reaching a remarkable height of 5.1 meters, adorned with stuccoes or frescoed coffered designs.

A grand marble staircase ascends to the first floor, revealing three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a lavish master bedroom with a private terrace and en-suite bathroom. Every bedroom is adorned with original embellishments, sea vistas, and ceilings towering at 4.6 meters, adorned with frescoes.

The sprawling second floor, crowned with a tower, currently serves as a keeper’s apartment. Meanwhile, the lower ground floor, formerly the operational heart of the Villa, houses the kitchen, laundry room, wardrobe, and technical spaces. An ideal canvas for a spa or an underground heated swimming pool.

Nestled back from the road, the Villa Marsaglia Bevilacqua greets you with a stone gravel drive, leading to a neoclassical marble pronaos, an architectural flourish gracing the entrance.

Spanning approximately 1.2 acres, the meticulously landscaped gardens frame this exquisite estate, a sanctuary of privacy and serenity. Towering palms, age-old olive trees, majestic cedars, fragrant lemon trees, and stately cypresses converge in a harmonious display. A vision for an outdoor swimming pool and subterranean garage stands poised for realization.

This period Villa unveils itself within the vibrant tapestry of San Remo, a world-renowned seaside haven. Revel in the proximity of sandy beaches, exquisite dining establishments, and illustrious boutiques, all a stone’s throw away.
